The location is handy, just above Capoliveri and close to the old center. There’s a supermarket five minutes away, and the beaches are a 6-7 minute drive. Room 4 was clean and comfortable, but the bedroom has no windows. On hot nights there’s no airflow and I ended up sweating. A fan would help.

The terrace has a breathtaking view over the bay, and being just outside Capoliveri makes the house quieter at night. The four apartments are nicely kept, clean, and simply furnished. The kitchen is a little under-equipped: we missed chopping boards, sharp knives, and large bowls. There is a small grill.

The balcony view over Capoliveri and the bay was the highlight, especially under those lovely evening skies. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and everything was beautifully clean. The apartment is simple but has enough, though there’s just one set of plates, glasses, cups, and cutlery for everyone. Pots and pans come in different sizes, but we missed sharp knives and chopping boards. The three-burner gas stove is weak, so a larger pot of pasta water takes ages to boil. Villa Rosanna is on the edge of town, yet well placed: the supermarket, bus stop, and center are all walkable. We’ll definitely come back.
