The owner was very kind, and the price was good with breakfast and lunch included. I had two really peaceful, lovely nights at this welcoming B&B, just a five-minute walk from Crespi d'Adda.

I stayed here months ago and liked the place. It’s minimal, sure, but it didn’t seem nearly as awful as some people made it sound. And if the owner happens to read this, I walked around for hours that day, so sorry the room smelled so bad of my feet the next morning 🤣🤣

The building was in terrible shape, in a small working-class neighborhood with pigeons everywhere. There’s an inner courtyard where you can park, but at your own risk since anyone can access it, and a kind of landing leads upstairs. When we arrived after booking, a woman who barely spoke Italian took our money. We returned that evening to find the room even dirtier than it had been when we asked for it to be cleaned. We’d asked for at least some breakfast supplies because there isn’t even a supermarket nearby, but found nothing and an empty fridge. The bathroom was dim and in a pitiful state, with a washing machine full of clothes that had been there who knows how long. Early in the morning we found a stranger in our room. The owner had barely told us the bathroom was shared, and the upstairs room didn’t even have curtains. Church bells rang over and over from the nearby church, so I didn’t sleep well. It was a disaster, and I strongly advise against it.

We left in a hurry after finding yet another occupant in our room, which was why I didn’t report the place to the authorities. This accommodation doesn’t meet basic living standards, especially for families going to Leolandia with children. Other reviews have been much too kind. It’s a rundown apartment in a rundown neighborhood with peculiar residents, and proximity to the famous amusement park is its only real advantage. The owner never showed up or registered our documents. A woman collected cash without a receipt. Inside, it was filthy, with broken furniture and a stench of old dirt. The photos online and in the listing seemed fake or from another apartment. I had specifically requested a bathroom just for our two rooms, but found strangers in the stairwell using the same one. She had barely mentioned that all floors shared a bathroom. I’d also said we had a little girl and wanted to avoid problems, yet the bathroom had a dangling electrical outlet and laundry left in the washing machine for who knows how long. I asked to use the tiny kitchen for special needs. She assured me breakfast was available and everything for cooking would be there, but there was nothing at all, not even oil or salt. For what I paid, I expected at least the basics, or to be told beforehand so I could bring groceries. Nobody expects anything fancy, but honesty matters, especially at a price so out of line with the filth. I’d like to know why the authorities haven’t inspected this fake accommodation.
