Sea view life

Pretty nice.

The best part is the lovely sea-view terrace, which the rooms overlook, and the sea views themselves. Giuseppe was wonderful, welcoming, and helpful, and the rooms were clean and tastefully furnished. Still, some things don’t quite match the photos and could do with updating. The hot water flow from the various taps needs improvement. The highway runs just a few meters behind the rear windows, though they’re well insulated, and the house’s front faces the sea. The seafront below feels a little depressing in spots. The road to the property is very narrow and busy, and there’s no private parking, so we had to leave the car at the roadside. We had a pleasant stay, but the place wasn’t quite what I’d expected from the pictures.

The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the accommodation is beautifully furnished. It feels like an oasis surrounded by ruins. The highway is right beside it, though the new windows block almost all the sound. The sun reaches the beach late, but the sunsets are beautiful. It worked well as an overnight stop for a holiday getaway.

We came hoping to unwind, and the Junior Suite was fantastic inside and out. Every detail felt carefully and tastefully chosen, with real professionalism and love behind it. The Window on the Sea is unforgettable, and the view is so captivating you don’t want to leave. The property was even more beautiful and impressive in person than we’d gathered from the reviews and photos. The name Sea View Life couldn’t fit better. Everything was excellent, from the sea view and comfort to the care of the owner, Giuseppe, who was kind, friendly, thoughtful, and made us feel at home. The location is strategic too, just a few kilometers from the airport, train station, capital, and the wonderful tourist towns of western Sicily. Once you’re in the room, it’s quiet and all you notice is that breathtaking view. My partner and I read the reviews and booked a short stay. I highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely return.
