We liked being a little outside the center. There’s a park by the river, with walking paths and bike routes nearby. It was quiet while we were there, with only a few other guests, and the owner was lovely and helpful.

The location is handy for nearby amenities, though the buildings feel too close to one another. The apartments have the basics, but a kettle and microwave would be useful. There’s still no Wi-Fi.

The cross-country ski slopes are close, and there’s an underground garage. It’s a quiet place that works well for families, with a good pizzeria nearby and a supermarket about 7-8 minutes away on foot. Beverly Hotel manages it very well. I did feel the rooms could use some updating, and the kitchen could use a microwave.
