B&B Villa Valchero

The biggest problem was the state of the place. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere, and I’m allergic to dust. I couldn’t sleep because of my allergic asthma, so we told the owner we were leaving a day early. The response was, “Oh well, oh well, it’s normal, we’re in the countryside.” We’d booked three nights after seeing the photos and reviews and paying the price, so we expected more. The weather was poor, and since the B&B is isolated, there wasn’t much to do. That wasn’t the host’s fault, though. On our penultimate day, the water and electricity were out for at least four hours, so we had to go somewhere else to wash. The owner offered no alternative and just said, “Well, it happens.” Breakfast was embarrassing: self-service, with counted coffee pods, stale, old biscuits, and soggy croissants left on the table overnight, stuck to the napkin. I don’t know what else to say. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
