The location worked really well for us: the nearby towns are only 5-7 minutes away, and you can reach anywhere in Salento in under half an hour. We booked seven nights at Masseria Saittole, then added an eighth because we loved the place, Fausto and Federica’s friendliness, and the convenient location. We appreciated having a roomy parking area for our car, platform, and moto. With only four rooms, there was always space to park. The owners live on site and were always available, whether we needed restaurant suggestions or help arranging travel. Our cleaning lady Anna-Rita was very friendly and did a perfect turndown service. Rocco the cat was often nearby and added to the family feel. Our room in the traditional masseria building was spacious and special. With temperatures reaching 38°, the air-conditioning and outdoor pool were a big help. We also used the terrace and outdoor tables for lunch and aperitivo. Breakfast had fresh fruit, yoghurt, sweets, and some savory options. Thanks for everything, and see you soon!

With just a few rooms, the pool and breakfast never felt busy. The family put breakfast out each morning and came over for a chat, and they were a great source of tips on local restaurants and beaches, especially useful when the area gets busy. Our room seemed as if it might once have been a store, with very few windows, but we slept really well because no light woke us. This small family-run Masseria has a tranquil, authentic feel and is well placed for some of Puglia’s best beaches and nearby towns.

The restaurant food was creative, well balanced, and delicious, and it’s a great base for exploring the area. The staff were terrific and clearly share the family’s pride in the hotel. We’re looking forward to coming back.

The owners are delightful, and the setting is a peaceful escape from the bustle of the city. We spent a few days at this beautiful masseria. It’s also conveniently located, about 15 minutes from Torre dell'Orso and the Sant'Andrea sea stacks.

Fausto, Federica, and little Roberto were so kind and welcoming that they made us feel at home. Their advice helped us make the most of Salento, and the small thoughtful touches made the stay memorable. We’d just got back from vacation and had to write about their hospitality.
