We had warm, attentive service and paid a great price for the quality. The regional dishes and local ingredients were excellent, with authentic flavors in every plate we tried. A lovely typical osteria, highly recommended!

Antica Locanda Luigina is a peaceful base in the Val di Vara valley for visiting the Cinque Terre and nearby areas. I especially enjoyed the restaurant’s fresh, local Ligurian food, and the separate vegan menu was a thoughtful extra. The staff were so welcoming and really made an effort to look after me. My room was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed, including reliable Wi-Fi and a lovely garden view. I also appreciated the private parking and the hotel’s support for cyclists and people who enjoy the outdoors. The rustic charm and modern comforts made for a wonderful countryside break. I’d happily return and recommend Antica Locanda Luigina.

For under €500, our group of six had plenty of drinks in the evening, an excellent dinner with wine, beer, and other drinks, three rooms for the night, and a superb breakfast. The staff gave us wonderful service, and it was great value. I wish I’d had my own car for the beautiful mountain road, which lots of local cyclists and motorcyclists were enjoying. One tip: coming from the east on SS1, ignore Google navigation. It sends you on a side-road loop so you’ll be on the right side of SS1 for parking, apparently because it thinks you can’t turn left. A great find!
