The only thing families with little kids should plan for is food between meals. Casale Talevi isn’t within walking distance of town, so it’s best to bring snacks along. Otherwise, it was a really peaceful stay among the Marche hills, with Cartoceto, Fano, and other places close enough for restaurants and sightseeing. The owner made us feel welcome, and our two toddlers loved the setting. We had a very relaxing time.

If you’re after quiet days and a slower pace, I’d recommend this place for a holiday. Great people, lovely spot. Greetings from Poland!

The farmhouse is peaceful, and the rooms are roomy and air-conditioned. Marco was friendly and communication during booking was excellent. The road up to the property is very bumpy and could use maintenance. I’d also improve breakfast with fresh fruit, juice, homemade cakes, or a savory choice. For dinner, it would help to have at least two options, perhaps shared in the morning. In the bathroom, liquid soap and shower gel in dispensers would be better than sachets. It seems Marco could use more staff to raise the quality of the place.

Marco and his team gave us such a generous, warm welcome that the stay felt like more than a holiday. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and well cared for, and the peaceful surroundings had a real sense of calm and authenticity. Marco’s cooking is well worth trying, hearty and delicious. It was a memorable experience full of kindness and warmth. Thank you so much!
