Dimora Di Campagna

We came back to Dimora di Campagna for a second year in a row. It has such an idyllic, historic feel, which made the visit a real pleasure again.

We spent our last night in Italy here and wished we could have stayed a whole week. The hosts welcomed us so warmly, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax. There’s a huge garden with flowers, open space, and sweet, cuddly animals. Our room felt both luxurious and homey. It was very spacious, with a separate cozy bedroom and a living area stocked with everything from books and unusual teas to a TV with Netflix. Since we had to leave early the next morning, they left us a delicious breakfast in the room, with good quality food and homemade desserts. We were also happy to learn the hosts are vegetarian :)

The breakfast was what really blew us away. Everything was delicious, and the table had been arranged with so much care. Sabrina has made a special place for guests, and this was one of my favourite places we stayed in Italy. Our room was clean, roomy, comfortable, and cozy. We also loved seeing the animals around the beautiful property, especially Martina the goat. It’s a gem, and you won’t be disappointed.

The garden is blissful, and breakfast under a glass chandelier out there was such a treat. We loved every moment and only wished we could stay longer. There are animals everywhere, so breakfast comes with chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats, and in the evening we were greeted by a goat sitting on an outdoor sofa. Sabrina is lovely and made us feel like family with her friendliness and attention to detail. The suite was comfortable and interesting, a welcome break from the usual tourist trappings. Dimora di Campagne is charming, eccentric, and full of fabulous animals. We loved it, and can’t recommend Dimora Di Campagna enough. Thanks so much, Sabrina ☺️
