B&B Villa Antica

His seaside oasis was exactly what we were after, with vegetable and fruit gardens and warm, friendly breakfasts. He was there whenever we wanted to ask something, while also giving us room when we needed it. We’ll make a point of coming back. We asked how his evening was, and he replied, surprised, “By the sea, it is not possible to not be ok.”

The view, the setting, and breakfast stood out most for me. Mariano’s home is beautiful and he looked after us really well. We didn't use the small private pool every day, but on the hottest days it was brilliant for cooling off after we'd been out exploring the island.

Mariano showed us where to go and where to park, and welcomed us with cake on his lovely terrace. We had a perfect three-night stay at villa Antica. The rooms were cleaned every day, and Mariano brought us fresh fruit salad and croissants each morning. On our last day, we could still enjoy the pool area while waiting for the ferry back to the mainland. Highly recommend!

This lovely B&B gave me the best holiday of 2022, and I know I'm writing this review late. The view really is spectacular, along with the yard, pool, and terrace, though you have to experience it yourself because photos don't do it justice. The rooms are spacious and clean, with the privacy you need. We stayed for two weeks, and Mariano was an incredible host. He picked us up from the seaport, and we clicked from the moment we met. During our stay he gave us lots of advice on beaches, transport, spas, restaurants, and more. I still miss the fruit salad from the wonderful breakfast he prepared every morning for his guests. He made us feel at home. We’ll definitely come back to visit, and please send my love to Sfigato and his sister, they were great companions! For an authentic Italian experience in Ischia, Vila Antica in Casamicciola is the place I’d choose. I can guarantee you’ll come away feeling fully recharged. Grazie mille & alla prossima! Sorina
