Grifo Hotel Charme & SPA

The pool was a lovely place to unwind, and we’ll try the spa on our next visit. We especially enjoyed dinner at the Grifo Hotel, with excellent local food and wine and Enzo’s exceptional hospitality. The whole property was spotless and comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome while staying professional. It’s a special base for exploring Ischia. The team gave us helpful advice so we could make the most of the island, and we’ve already recommended the Grifo Hotel to friends. We can’t wait to come back.

The hotel felt peaceful and private throughout our 12-day honeymoon at Il Grifo Charme Hotel & Spa, even with plenty of other guests around. There was room to relax by the pool or in it, and at the spa. We enjoyed the outdoor areas too, and used the Grifo-mobile mini bus for its regular or on-request rides into town and back. Our room had an incredible view, and the staff were kind and attentive from the start. The complimentary pick-up when we arrived on the island was much appreciated, and it was easy to reach the staff through Whatsapp. The spa was top-notch, and the restaurant served delicious food all day, with changing dinner menus through the week. Marika, Enzo, Alberto, Michele, and everyone else made the trip so special and memorable. Their knowledge of the island and care for guests are extraordinary. We’re already dreaming of returning.

The breakfast really impressed us, and the staff and service even more so. They went out of their way to make us feel like VIPs. We loved the tidy hotel, its views, and the nice pool and grounds. I think there was a spa on site, but we didn’t use it. My only gripe was the shower being pretty small. At 6ft, I had to maneuver carefully in there. Still, I’d highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

We arrived without a booking after changing our plans, and they gave us a great room. The staff were lovely, looked after us, answered our questions, and offered good recommendations. The rooms were very nice, the restaurant was great, and the spa was lovely too. There are some great facilities and an even better view. Thanks to the whole staff for an amazing vacation. We’ll come back one day!
