La Tenuta - Resort Agricolo

La Tenuta was a perfect place to put up our family and friends for my wedding in Casaprota. The property is spacious and beautiful, with well kept grounds and clean, comfortable rooms. Rachele made organizing everything for our big group so easy, and the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, more like family. I also appreciated the extra services they arranged to take care of our needs. I’d strongly recommend La Tenuta. The team is thoughtful, professional and understanding.

The best word for the La Tenuta team is accommodating. They ordered excellent food for us even when the restaurant was closed, including dishes for people with special diets. They also drove family members to a bus stop and collected them late at night. When a visitor arrived at 1:00 am after the wedding, they improvised and found him a couch in the sauna. Our group of 23 booked the whole farm for a destination wedding, with other holiday plans as well. Most of us wanted to avoid using cars, especially for trips that included Rome and Florence. The farm was a peaceful, relaxing break from Rome. The children loved the animals and having room to run around. Rooms varied from modern to rustic, but all had comfortable beds, heat, hot water, internet and electrical outlets. The shuttle we’d booked to take us back to Rome wouldn’t carry all our baggage. La Tenuta staff came to the rescue and drove me and three suitcases to Rome while the bus took the rest of the family. I only had to pay for fuel and tolls. We’d like to see the nearby unspoiled towns someday. If we do, we’ll stay at La Tenuta again, and rent a car.

The meal was the best I’ve had in ages. It was my first time on a horse, and it didn’t take long before I felt like a real cowboy. Pompei is the best boy, 12/10. Huge thanks to Carolina, Lupo, Fabrizio and the whole team. I’ll be back.
