Agriturismo Pinzale

We had a great summer holiday in 2023. Everything was spotless when we arrived. It isn’t brand-new, but it’s clean. The pool and the whole property are enclosed by a safety fence, which was very practical with little children. The hosts are open, friendly, and discreet. We’d recommend it without hesitation.

Our ground-floor apartment was spacious, spotless, and stayed nice and cool thanks to the excellent air conditioning. The kitchen was well equipped, with plenty of dishes and cutlery, and each of us had a set of towels. We got a very friendly welcome when we arrived. The bathroom was clean and well cared for, though it really needs renovating. We’ll definitely come back.

We had a lovely week in summer 2022 in the upstairs apartment, which suited four couples. It’s not especially luxurious, but it has beautiful style and is fully equipped. The pool was lovely, there’s an indoor playground, and it’s a great base for visiting Pisa, Lucca, Florence, and the coast. The hosts were very hospitable, and their homemade cookies were delicious. Worth it! People who left negative reviews about this place and other agriturismos don’t seem to know what an agriturismo is.

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Our multi-bedroom apartment had only one bathroom, with a shower that drained onto the floor, and just one tiny bar of soap for five people. There wasn’t even a bottle of water or anything else in the apartment. The rooms were cold, the building run-down, and the furnishings poorly maintained. Wi-Fi worked only in the entryway, not in the rooms, and the fixtures had clearly been neglected. The road was bumpy and the signage nonexistent. The owners showed no friendliness or willingness to accommodate guests’ needs. They should change professions, Carlo.
