The cooking starts with the owner's mum, who is the cook and has a habit of serving big portions. There's real heart in this place. The food tastes authentic, but the idea behind it feels surprisingly fresh. So much of what they serve comes from their own farms, with only a small amount of ingredients brought in from carefully chosen producers. The food is delicious and plentiful. Do yourself a favour and stop in.

Tucked into the village's lovely old quarter, this place serves really tasty, interesting food made entirely from local ingredients. The owner is extremely nice and the service is great. Definitely worth experiencing the local cuisine here.

The valley and the hills around it make a beautiful setting. The food was excellent, fresh, and creative, with most of it coming from their own farm. I loved the signature salami and pumpkin. Definitely visit if you're in the area.

Everything tasted so good! The antipasti de misto changes daily and is just too good. They clearly care about good food, and grow it all themselves. Bring something warm and you can sit on the terrace late, looking out over all of Castelle. The people were lovely too. Angelo kindly showed us their farm and some nice spots around town. This will be the first place we go back to when we're in the region again.
