The sheets were clean, but the apartment as a whole could have been much cleaner. Its central location in Caserta is excellent, just steps from the Royal Palace. There was no kitchenette or even a mini-fridge for keeping water cold, and no bidet either.

We were freezing because the owner said the heating only gets turned on in December. The open windows couldn’t be shut because they were broken. The apartment felt cold, neglected, and unwelcoming. The bedroom had no wardrobe, except one room had a plastic one, and there was an old TV that didn’t work, along with plenty of other inconveniences I won’t list. Highly not recommended.

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. It was cold, there was no bidet, and the photos on booking didn’t match the place. The fridge was out on the building stairs, and breakfast meant going to a bar far away. Money stolen.

At first they were very welcoming, but then I froze and was kicked out at 9:40 PM. Kicked out, I repeat, and I won’t forget it. I couldn’t even shower properly because there was no pressure, just a trickle of water. And this place is rated a star.

The shower is tiny and there’s no bidet, but apart from that it’s more than fine for a B&B. Parking was good, the owner was kind, and the royal palace is just a stone’s throw away.
