Villa Elisabetta

The owner was so friendly and always available, and breakfast was generous and delicious. Our clean, tidy room smelled lovely too. Set amid greenery, the place has spectacular scenery and a breathtaking view. Casertavecchia’s historic center is just steps away, as are the Royal Palace of Caserta and beautiful San Leucio. It feels like being outside the world, a peaceful place to get away from everything. The welcome was unique. I highly recommend a visit, and I know this won’t be my last.

The studio apartment I’ve stayed in several times is recently renovated, welcoming and equipped with every comfort. I’ve never met the owners, but the quality still comes through. There’s a kitchen, though I haven’t used it since I’m always out at mealtimes. In the morning, I look forward to the generous breakfast, with tea, biscuits, croissants and more. The green setting and convenient location near Caserta work for families, couples and business travelers. For me, it’s one of the best B&Bs in the area, with a great quality for the price.

We had a lovely stay. The owners weren’t there when we arrived on Sunday afternoon, but they sent all the details for getting into the villa, plus dinner and evening suggestions. Our studio was charming and furnished with care down to the little details. The bathroom was roomy and clean, and the shower was comfortable, though the toilet seat needs fixing. There’s no air conditioning; a fan did the job, and apparently it doesn’t usually get too hot even in summer. Breakfast had a decent variety of packaged items. Outside, there’s a garden with a hammock and a swing for the kids.

The studio apartment was clean, nicely furnished and beautiful, and the owner and staff were very friendly. It’s near Casertavecchia and away from city traffic, with outdoor space where you can relax. I’d recommend it.
