La Filanda B&B

Street parking was easy, and I had a good stay for a very reasonable price. The villa has three roomy B&B rooms; mine was clean, neat, and had all the comforts, including a bathroom with a window, tub, and shower. Breakfast was set out in a lovely room with a grandfather clock, with plenty to choose from, from herbal tea to snacks. My only gripe was the TV, which felt too small.

We couldn't even get inside, so I can't judge the property itself. We'd told the person we spoke with while booking that we expected to arrive at 12:30 AM. Once there, we rang the intercom and called repeatedly, but got no answer. Being left waiting at that hour caused real inconvenience. The next morning, the B&B representative still didn't answer the phone. A very negative experience, and a real lack of professionalism. Shame!

The owner was very kind and helpful, and the location was quiet. Our room was spacious, with an even bigger bathroom. Breakfast was self-service and made up of prepackaged items, but there was plenty of it and the selection was well stocked.

Francesca really tried to work around my work needs. The place was clean, welcoming and peaceful, with lovely furnishings. I had a really pleasant stay, simply excellent.
