The rooms are spacious, warm, and welcoming, and the lounge is a relaxing place to spend time. Breakfast was just right, and the hosts, ANNA, MAX, and FRANCESCO, put real effort and passion into making guests feel at ease. Being here feels like stepping into another dimension and becoming part of nature. I came away feeling recharged. I can’t think of words that describe this B&B better than simply saying you should go. A huge thank you, and goodbye!

The kindness was lovely, and I’m grateful for that, but it doesn’t make up for the rest of the stay. Breakfast was practically nonexistent: there were three croissants in bags, nobody greeted me, and I had to work out how everything functioned, even how to switch on the dining room light. In the end I decided to have breakfast in the village. I work in the industry, so maybe I notice some things, but finding a bug crawling on my neck while I slept was not acceptable. Cleanliness was just acceptable. The room was cold when I arrived, even though the heating was on, and it was warm by the time I left in the morning. I can adapt, and I’ve slept in dormitory-style refuges, but at a refuge 3,000 meters up, you know what to expect. Here, the kindness was exquisite, but everything else was unacceptable to me.

They even suggested some great local restaurants with excellent value. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel at home. The room seemed practically new, with a spacious bathroom and the option of an extra bed in the loft. It’s a wonderful, welcoming place. I’d recommend it to everyone, and we’ll be back!
