Camping Le Pianacce

We stayed in Family Cottage 2002, which we think has one of the best views on the site. It was spotless, comfortable, and well kept. The cottage sits a short walk uphill from the pools, handy with children, and the bird sounds in the early morning made the natural setting especially peaceful. The pools were a highlight. The weather was mild, so having a heated pool was a real treat, and our little one loved the slides. Even early in the season, with few children around, the entertainment was excellent. Rafaël kept the kids happily busy with fun activities, and we’re grateful to him for making the stay memorable. We also liked the well-stocked camping shop, with fresh items at reasonable prices, similar to the supermarket about ten minutes away by car. The wine stall had a nice selection of local bottles. Just down the road there’s a fruit and vegetable stand with low prices, great quality, and convenient card payments. A lovely mix of nature, comfort, and things for families. We’d recommend it for an enjoyable, relaxing holiday.

We’ve come back to Le Pianacce for a second year and enjoyed both stays. The Glossy Tent and XXL open air spa tent were comfortable and nice, and the maintenance crew are really friendly and quick to sort out problems. The pool is nice for kids, though it could use more shade. The restaurant was a letdown this year. It was completely different from last time, when the food was really good. This year the food wasn’t as good and the staff seemed very inexperienced. Still, the campsite is beautiful and well kept, and we can recommend it.

The pool staff are really nice, and there are lots of activities for the kids. Our mobile home was perfect for the very hot weather thanks to its air conditioning, though it wasn’t very clean and could use some maintenance.

The onsite restaurant was accommodating for vegans and the food was delicious. We found the shop well stocked and fairly priced, enjoyed the gelato, and used the free bus to the local beach. The pools were great, though a bit crowded, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed with Eurocamp in the two-bedroom cabin, which had everything our group of six needed, plus lovely views and space to sit outside. There were very few mosquitoes, and seeing the skinks scurrying around was nice. This was just the sort of Tuscany stay we’d hoped for, and we’ll definitely come again.
