A quiet little village near Meran makes this a good summer choice if you want to relax away from lots of tourists. The owner grows some of the ingredients in his own garden, which is a nice touch, and the food is well prepared. You can have dinner at the hotel without spending too much per person. The pool is small, but fine for cooling off. Breakfast is basic but okay, the staff are kind, and both the hotel and rooms are clean. The beds felt a little hard to me, though that's just my personal opinion.

We got a terrace room with amazing views across the valley and mountains. For the price, I think it's hard to beat. The place is spotless, and I'd highly recommend it.

That balcony on the second floor has a breathtaking view, day or night, and it was lovely to unwind there in the evening with a good South Tyrolean wine. The hotel sits above 800 meters, overlooking the idyllic village of Schenna. We were very happy with our stay, and the generous breakfast deserves a mention too. Thanks to the hosts and staff for everything. We kept our plans flexible as the weather changed. There are lovely peaceful trails and forest paths for hiking, and we also enjoyed the Merano thermal baths and the adventure spa in Eppan. The museum in Bolzano, especially the mummy exhibit, was spectacular. A cable car near the hotel also gives kids a chance to bounce on trampolines, see llamas, and do more. There was plenty to enjoy in the area and a wonderful chance to take in nature.

We loved the panoramic mountain views from the spa, and the balcony looked out over a gorgeous landscape. Our room was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Many thanks to the family running Hotel Garni Alpenhof and everyone on the team. We had such a good time and would love to return.

Everything was easy to reach from the Naturhotel Gruberhof. We were warmly welcomed at our holiday destination in the Alpes and given helpful information. The breakfast buffet was fantastic too. A stay I'd gladly recommend. Thanks for everything, and we'd love to come back to the Alpes.
