The location is perfect, right in the center of the town square, with a quick walk to the historic old town and any restaurant or bar. The rooms are modern and super clean.

In November, this was the only place I could find open. It was a good place to warm up, get some rest, and have a coffee. The woman at the bar was nice, and we had a little chat with her and a local customer. The building is nice and modern, unfortunately, it doesn't fit the architecture of this beautiful village.

Really lovely people, and lunch was even better. My husband said it was his favorite meal in Italy. Don't miss this gem by the bus stop in the square.

It gets pretty busy in the evenings. This friendly local bar has reasonable prices and a lovely, large outdoor seating area. The city is still a construction zone, and a lot of it isn't open, but this is one of the very few places that is. It's in a great spot in the “new” square by the fountain, looking up toward the gorgeous medieval city, though the modern building itself is most unattractive.

The main impression I got was that the waiter wanted to rip us off. Service was super slow and unfriendly, and the meal was very average. This restaurant is a disgrace. There are plenty of much better, cheaper, and friendlier restaurants in Castel Del Monte...
