Locanda Della Quercia Calante

A warning about this place. I booked a yoga retreat during Covid-19, then had to reschedule several times. I asked politely for a refund, but they said no. I wired them 1,000, and I’m still waiting for a response explaining why I can’t get it back. At the time, people from the US weren’t permitted to travel into the state at all. That wasn’t my fault, but they’re keeping my money and only offering a voucher for later. My yoga retreaters are older and don’t feel safe traveling anymore, at least not anytime soon, so I can’t use the voucher. I’m extremely upset because they weren’t helpful about it. I never thought a LOCAL ECO LODGE would keep money that wasn’t theirs. SO SAD!! Don’t ever wire anyone money, as it can’t be returned. I did get back the money I paid by credit card after contacting my card company. This was Sept 2020 (covid-19). Obviously, I would have traveled with the group if I could have, but we couldn’t. BE AWARE of them! FYI

A wonderful place for a retreat! The people are really kind, and the meals are very good. Grazie mille! Thank you for everything!

The best place ever!!!

This Locanda is gorgeous. It’s a family business run very professionally, and the staff are welcoming. The bedrooms are lovely and clean, and each one has its own terrace. The outdoor setting is beautiful, with nature all around and a nice pool. There are two yoga spaces with props, and the food is amazing.
