We came here to get away from the noise, and the quiet made it a great place to sleep and properly relax. The apartments were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant food was excellent, with everything organic and grown on the family farm. We also enjoyed taking a stroll around the farm. It’s a lovely base for hiking or visiting the charming villages around Parco delle Madonie. We had a great stay.

The food was fantastic and fresh, especially breakfast and lunch. We skipped dinner because we usually eat earlier. The staff were polite, the views were lovely, and the facilities included a playground for kids. We also enjoyed the guided estate tour and learning about bees and other topics. There was one serious concern during our stay: a stray dog stayed on the property for several days and snapped food from our children’s hands, with some nipping that seemed to happen during play or from hunger. It scared our kids and some of the other children there. The police never came, and the staff didn’t seem to have a plan for reducing the risk, even something like calmly putting the dog in a secure room or cage while waiting for the authorities. Staff tried to reassure us that it looked friendly, or said it wasn’t theirs, which was even more troubling. Maybe the law limits what they can do, but one bite from an unvaccinated dog could cause an irreversible problem. This is our favorite place, apart from that incident. One other thing to make clearer: the Family Independence room shares a kitchen with two other rooms, and that wasn’t obvious in the photos.

I’ve never had a better stay. The atmosphere was warm and loving, the people were wonderful, and the service was great. The staff treated me like family, and the restaurant food was the best I’ve ever had. The rooms were clean and had beautiful views. This place feels like paradise, and I can’t wait to return or recommend it to friends and family. I was so sad to leave that I nearly cried. Thank you so much to everyone at BERGI!

The mountain views were beautiful, and passing clouds or a bit of wind only added to the feel of the place. The garden was lovely, with a playground that’s a real plus for families. Our room was spacious and clean, with a warm shower and a nice terrace. Room sizes do vary quite a bit, and some have a very small fridge. We found the restaurant food delicious, and it was easy to get a drink or snack at the bar on the cozy terrace. Breakfast was also excellent, with a generous spread of fresh local products. The pool was large and clean, though a little chilly in the mountain weather. Its posted opening time was 9:30 AM, but in Italy that can mean whenever it suits. We had a wonderful stay, thanks in part to the warm, friendly welcome. There’s hardly anything negative to say. A lovely place to unwind and enjoy Italian hospitality.
