Majestic Mountain Charme Hotel

We paid €800 a night expecting something special at Hotel Majestic, but our stay fell well short. Although the hotel has renovated rooms, we were put in an old standard room, despite it being called superior. It felt dated and nowhere near worth the price. There was little comfort or sense of luxury, and we couldn't control the temperature ourselves. Each time it needed adjusting, we had to call reception, which was frustrating and unexpected at this level. The central location also brought street noise that could clearly be heard in the room, so it wasn't relaxing. The toilet was squeezed so close to the shower that we had to sit sideways because there wasn't enough legroom. One receptionist was also unkind and unhelpful on several occasions, which made an already disappointing stay worse. It felt like paying a luxury rate for an average experience. Definitely not worth the money, and we wouldn't choose it again.

The staff were the best part of this family-owned hotel, attentive, friendly, generous, and clearly eager to make guests happy. The rooms were immaculate and modern, with everything we needed, and the ski lockers were spacious and heated. We also loved the inviting bar and the restaurant in the cellar, which served gorgeous Italian food. It's an easy five-minute walk to several gondolas, right among the restaurants and ski hire shops. I can't speak highly enough of this lovely place.

We had a lovely stay at this centrally located hotel, which is ideal for skiing. The food was really good, and the spa was relaxing, though when we were there one group booked all the best spa times. The hotel should manage bookings better so everyone gets a chance to enjoy it. Roberta, who worked at the bar during the day, deserves a special mention. She was amazing and made customers feel welcome. The cleaners were also always looking after us behind the scenes, and came to our room twice a day. Highly recommend the hotel and resort. The spa was a real pleasure, with a relaxing view over the mountain and M. Di Campiglio. The hotel is elegant and understated, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and in a very good location. Breakfast was lovely, including homemade cakes, and both the maître and the waiter were very attentive. We arrived yesterday, tired after a longer-than-needed trip in miserable weather. The welcome was professional and attentive, and the staff were very helpful with parking instructions. An unexpected room upgrade was the cherry on top. An amazing place to stay, strongly recommended. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!
