Casa delle Noci

The balsamic vinegar tasting with Giorgio was a highlight, and Roberta followed it with an incredible homemade meal. Everything was delicious, local, authentic, and clearly made with love. Ella and Toby, the two resident dogs, were gentle, affectionate, and lovely to meet when the weather cooled. The grounds are beautiful and so well cared for. We enjoyed peaceful walks through the orchard and woodland, seeing the fruit trees and produce, especially the cherries, which were in season. The pool was warm and beautifully maintained. During a couple of evening storms, Roberta and Giorgio even brought in our towels for us, such a thoughtful gesture. Casa delle Noci is peaceful, immaculate, and full of little touches that made our stay special. The spacious villa stayed wonderfully cool in the summer heat thanks to excellent air conditioning. When we arrived, Roberta had left us a generous welcome spread, including chilled wine, and stocked the kitchen with more than enough breakfast food for our stay: fresh breads, meats, cheeses, jams, and more. We didn't come close to finishing it all. Roberta and Giorgio made us feel at home. We'd return in a heartbeat.
