I photographed and filmed a beautiful Mediterranean summer wedding in September at Agriturismo La Capitata in Tuscany. It was a memorable day for the couple and their 80 guests, with a ceremony beneath the trees, a stunning sunset behind the hills during dinner, and a live band that got everyone dancing. The landscape and olive trees gave the couple plenty of beautiful spots for photos. It’s an ideal setting for wedding photography, and I’d be thrilled to shoot another wedding there. The venue is also conveniently located just 45 minutes from Florence.

Patrizia supported us throughout the planning, always ready with advice, a listening ear, and quick help when a problem came up. We had to postpone our dream wedding for two years because of the circumstances, but she stayed by our side the whole time. We’re very grateful to her for everything.

It honestly felt like heaven on earth, and it’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever had the privilege of staying. The owners were the sweetest and most accommodating hosts I’ve had in Italy. Please keep it a secret, though!

The old house has been refurbished beautifully, and there’s a garden and swimming pool. Our room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the surrounding landscape is gorgeous. A fabulous place to stay.

The views are amazing, and there are lots of places to eat outdoors. Plenty of cute little towns are within an hour’s drive too. Agriturismo La Capitata is a great choice for a relaxing Italian holiday. The only drawback was the bed, which was a little uncomfortable, especially if you have back problems.
