Arena Vacanze

We were a group of 12 adults and 2 children, staying in five rooms, three triples and two doubles, from July 27th to 29th. Mr. Pasquale and his father looked after us impeccably. The rooms were clean and well cared for, and breakfast was satisfactory. Mr. Pasquale was polite and helpful. Congratulations to him, we’ll definitely return. Luigi Celentano

I chose Arena Vacanze again because it’s one of my favorite places, a little haven of calm and serenity. Pasquale runs it so well with his father’s help. The comfortable, clean accommodations and breakfast both deserve five stars. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. Seeing other guests return year after year confirmed that feeling. The owners make this place feel welcoming from the moment you arrive. They’re kind, always smiling, and ready to do what they can to make your stay special. Breakfast includes excellent homemade cakes and is served on a flower-filled patio, where you can also relax with a book after the beach. Set amid nature in the heart of Cilento, this little gem is quiet and cool, a lovely place for a restorative break. The location is convenient too, with lively towns and some of Cilento’s best beaches just a short drive away. Baia del Sole was my favorite.

The rooms have kitchens, which is handy, but they’re old, poorly maintained, and very noisy. The showers were broken, and the fans in the rooms don’t do much. Breakfast was ordinary, with low quality items like stale croissants. With all those problems, I wouldn’t choose this place. If you have other options, stay somewhere else.
