Hotel Baglio Di Scopello

The pool area is beautiful, and breakfast was included with a great selection of pastries and other choices. The lobby feels premium, and the staff were helpful. This is a fantastic hotel and, without a doubt, my top pick for staying in Scopello.

September was so peaceful, and we'd definitely recommend this clean, friendly hotel for that time of year. It's close enough to walk to the medieval center for dinner, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast was a treat, with plenty of fresh fruit, pastries, meats and vegetarian choices. We had a relaxing time by the pool, and our small balcony had a sea view, though larger balconies are available too. We'd booked because my husband wanted to walk the beaches in the National Park, but the park was closed after a fire a few weeks before our visit. The area is stunning, though reaching the nearest beach takes about a 20-minute walk for anyone fit enough. Taxis aren't based in town, and one would have cost us around 60-70 euros because it would need to come from a nearby town. I managed to walk down one day despite my bad knee. On the way back, two younger people each offered me a free lift. Thanks to them for helping an old lady!

The location is great, just a few minutes' walk from the bars and restaurants. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. Reception offered lots of advice and helped us book trips and transfers.

The staff were sooo lovely and helpful, and we really enjoyed the pool and having breakfast outside. Our upstairs balcony room was great too. We came to Scopello for a family wedding in September and this hotel made the perfect base for relaxing and exploring the village, just a minute away, and the beautiful surroundings. Five-star happiness, thank you!
