The terrace was a lovely place to spend the quiet mornings with a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the view. We stayed for nine days in August, and the atmosphere was wonderfully peaceful and relaxed. Costanzo is a helpful landlord with good excursion tips, and his welcoming family made us feel at home straight away. You can get fresh homemade specialties from the garden, and meals for the evening can be ordered in advance. Everything tasted delicious. Dogs are allowed, and the neighbors having theirs caused no problems. There are also very cute kittens on the property.

I'm staying here now, and the house has neither air conditioning nor fans. They say dogs are accepted, but I think that information in the listing needs to be changed. I have a dog, and when he sees us leave he starts barking and crying, as many dogs do. The landlord complained that a dog can't be left alone in the house. He was also rude and ill-mannered, something I've never come across before, and I have lots of Airbnbs in my family. He said he'd rather walk on asphalt at 45°C and take us to the beach at 35°C than listen to the dog bark. Cats roam around the garden, so naturally the dog barks when he sees one. The landlord suggested tying the dog to a tree in the sun instead of leaving him in the house, and called that a valid solution. When the issue comes up, he either leaves or yells instead of finding a way to deal with it. Not recommended at all.

The place is peaceful and well equipped, with a superb view and a beautifully arranged vegetable garden. The produce on site and meals available on request were excellent, and Costanzo and his family were lovely. Costanzo was always helpful and available, with plenty of advice. They're lucky to live there. Moneglia also makes a good base for visiting the Cinque Terre, while still being relatively free of crowds. For a quiet outing, La Secca beach is wild and open to everyone. It's a 15-20 minute walk down to the station, town center, and beach; for anyone who'd rather not walk back up, the bus stops just steps from the house. We had an incredible stay, and if we're back in this part of Italy, we'd definitely choose this place again. All the best to you.

The views are enchanting, and it's very peaceful here. The owners are friendly and helpful, though having a vehicle is recommended. There are private parking spaces on the property, about 2.5 km from Moneglia.
