Hotel Elisabetta

The walk into Castellamare was okay, but I preferred driving. The hotel worked well as a base for exploring Naples and the Amalfi Coast, and Castellamare felt less chaotic and more real, a good middle ground between Naples and Sorrento. We spent a week here, starting in a garden-view room and moving to a sea-view one for the last few days. I’d recommend the sea view. The renovated rooms had comfortable beds, breakfast was good, and I can recommend the restaurant too. There’s free parking. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Giovanna, the boss, who speaks English incredibly well.

The views over the ocean from the rooms, outdoor lounge, and dining hall are spectacular. The food is delicious, and chef Giovanna is very caring toward her guests, as is the rest of the staff. A great place in Italy for a hotel stay and restaurant.

For what we paid, the room was roomy and comfortable. We were there just one night at Elisabetta, and a simple, pleasant breakfast came with the stay. We were very pleased with the value.

The food was delicious, and the rooms were very clean. We spent a week here and were especially impressed by the views and how friendly the staff were. There was parking and the WiFi worked well. Giovanna and Pina were particularly helpful and welcoming. ❤️
