Il Timone Bed and Breakfast

The owner was attentive and very nice, and the apartment is in a good area. There are beaches and good restaurants nearby. It's a great place to stay if you're planning visits to Amalfi and Pompeii.

The location is great, just across from the port where you can take ferries to Capri, Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, and other places. Our round trip to Capri cost about 50 euros per person. Castellammare's center is charming and definitely worth a look. Enzo was so thoughtful. He left us something for breakfast and fresh towels each morning, and stocked the bathroom with plenty of shampoo, conditioner, soap, and toilet paper. The kitchen has a microwave, kettle, and coffee maker. The stovetop burners aren't available to use, but he still provided coffee, tea, sugar, oil, vinegar, and all the cooking utensils we needed.

Enzo at B&B Il Timone made us feel well looked after, always kind and attentive to what we needed. The place is cleaned every day, and its central location makes it easy to get to the most beautiful parts of the Amalfi Coast. We're very grateful for the stay and would highly recommend it.
