The sandy beach is great, and the location works well. Staff were friendly, and I liked the coffee. Internet on the beach, though, was very poor. The pool looked more like a pond, and its hours ruled out an early swim: it was open 09.00 to 13.00, then 15.00 to 19.00. I still don’t understand Italy’s early checkouts, and this hotel’s 10am checkout was even earlier than the 11.00am I’ve seen elsewhere.

The hotel was very clean, and the beach was lovely, sandy, and tidy. It has its own beach area with umbrellas and sunbeds for 5 euro/set/day, plus a beach bar. We stayed for three days at the beginning of June 2022. There were mostly older guests, which made for a quiet, uncrowded stay. We had a room in the front building, facing the sea. There are two buildings, with the pool and terrace between them. The view was nice, but street noise at night was intense. Young people seemed to use the road to show off their cars and motorcycles, sometimes late at night or early in the morning. The receptionist said the noise was due to a holiday in Italy, which was true, but the other two nights were noisy too, just not as bad as on 2nd of June. With the room hot and the air conditioning not working, we had the windows open, and a motorcycle racing by right under the window was a lot to deal with. Our room was small but pleasant, with a balcony and at least a partial sea view. The shower is by the entrance, outside the bathroom, so it made the room warmer and steamier. There was also a small fridge, which came in handy. The room had air conditioning, but we couldn’t use it because it didn’t seem to work. Breakfast was good, close to a continental breakfast. There was prosciutto cotto, salami, fried bacon, omelette, the usual sweet pastries, and several other things. I’d recommend the croissants. They also had three kinds of fruit juice, tea, milk, and coffee. We skipped dinner at the restaurant and preferred to explore nearby. The staff were okay. Some were clearly beginners and not much help yet, and only a few knew basic English. They did try their best. I met just one young woman at reception who could really speak English. The cleaning team deserves special thanks for their impeccable work.

The food was so good, and the staff were both friendly and professional. The clean pool area and beach right beside the hotel made for an amazing stay. I’ll be back for sure.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay and will definitely come back. The rooms were clean, the staff were super attentive, and the beach was only a few steps away. It all felt COVID-secure, and everything was perfect. Highly recommended.
