The animals were the highlight for us: three cute kittens, two young cats, two huge but friendly dogs who were a bit slobbery, plus a pony, chickens, and an extremely tame gecko. The kids thought it was heaven. Our room, bed linen, air conditioning, and facilities were all very good quality, and breakfast was nice. It was easy enough to find. The pool was clean and refreshing, though quite cold.

The rooms are designed really well, and the family was so nice. There is a pool too, though I haven’t tried it.

The beds are seriously comfortable, and the rooms were very clean. We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it. This masseria is out in the countryside, a short distance from Castellaneta, so it’s peaceful and relaxing. The ladies running it are kind, helpful, respectful, and welcoming, and they pay attention to what guests need. There’s a large breakfast room and a very clean, well-kept swimming pool with a lovely view of the countryside. Parking indoors is ample and convenient, and the outdoor lights around the bedroom area make things feel warm and festive at night. In the garden, a friendly Newfoundland loves company, alongside several kittens, another dog, and a few roosters. They’re fun for children and never disturb them. Nights are quiet, and breakfast in the morning is simple but more than adequate. Highly recommended, and we hope to return.

The owner and her daughter are friendly and helpful, and the pool is lovely, surrounded by greenery and the quiet of nature. The rooms are clean, and breakfast is delicious, with options to suit guests’ tastes. It’s near the center of Castellaneta and about a 30-minute drive from Castellaneta Marina. A good spot for a relaxing holiday.

I was here for one night because I had a wedding nearby, so the location worked well for me. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was clean. There’s also a beautiful pool where you can relax in complete silence. I recommend it if you want a break from the daily grind and some quiet time by the pool.
