Acqua e Sale Avola

We really recommend this place and would definitely come back. Sebastianio and his wife were great hosts, so welcoming. The house and rooms were modern and super clean, breakfast had both sweet and savoury things, and there was free bottled water in the fridge. A beautiful beach is within walking distance. 💜💜

Sebastiano and his wife were the real highlight of our week here over the August bank holiday. They were kind, discreet, and helpful with every request, from local tips and breakfast questions to anything else we needed. We got all kinds of newspapers promptly via WhatsApp, and on our last morning Sebastiano even had granita delivered to our table from one of Avola’s best-known places. The facility is modern, in an excellent location, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generous and varied. We’ve rarely had such a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend the place for both the accommodation and the owners’ hospitality.

The breakfast was a lovely surprise, generous and full of fresh, quality sweet and savoury options, all prepared with care. The common spaces, including the lobby and breakfast area, feel warm and familiar, and the garden has a peaceful little spot for relaxing among the greenery. Sebastiano and Antonella made us feel at home from the start. They pay close attention to every detail and need, and were always available if anything came up. The rooms are thoroughly maintained, well equipped, and cleaned daily, making them comfortable and peaceful. We’re grateful to the person who recommended this B&B to us. If I return, I’d choose Acqua e Sale again without hesitation.

Sebastiano made us feel at ease right away, like we’d known each other forever. You’re treated as a guest, not just a customer. In the evening you can share a delicious amaro and hear local stories and anecdotes. He’s devoted to his work, and his passion, dedication, humility, and willingness to help really come through. My father-in-law had stayed here a few years ago and recommended it to us. It was a great choice for the cleanliness, location, and spacious rooms, as well as Sebastiano’s kindness.
