Regensburgerhof

We came as a group of nine to explore the area on our Vespas, and Federico and his family gave us a really warm welcome. They pointed us toward restaurants and shops, and the houses worked great for a group. They’re all brand new, with well-equipped kitchens including induction ovens, microwaves, and dishes, plus lovely bathrooms. There are two pizzerias nearby, and Castello Tessino, with a supermarket and other basics, is about a ten-minute drive down the valley. A great base for a mountain holiday, whether you’re with family or here to walk, mountain bike, or ride motorcycles.

The Jacuzzi’s beautiful view is unforgettable, and after a day on the trails the sauna was a lovely place to unwind. The spot is peaceful and excellent for relaxing, with lots of destinations still an easy drive away. There are trails nearby, and it seems ideal for couples or families with kids of any age. Everything was clean, well organized, and supplied with what you need, and the staff were very kind and helpful. I hope I can come back.

I only had four days at Maso Equilibrio, which I chose for its view over the valley and the sunrises and sunsets. It was just right for switching off and enjoying some peace, especially at this time of year. I’d happened upon the place the year before, and the setting and overall layout had caught my eye straight away. Everything is looked after down to the smallest detail. The welcome was excellent, and the managers were lovely and ready to help with anything. The sauna and hay bath were available, but the hot tub had already closed for the season at the end of September. It’s a convenient place for hiking too. Thanks to Federico and his parents for their kindness. I hope to return.

A peaceful escape for the mind and spirit, where the body can recharge. Between the present and the past, surrounded by the sounds of crickets, hawks, and cicadas, I found my own sense of time again.
