We spent one night in our camper here, with electricity available, about 15 minutes from Castelmezzano. The pool was lovely and there’s a separate building with toilets. We checked the restaurant hours easily over WhatsApp; it serves both day and night. The food was amazing and the service was lovely. Would recommend stopping here.

Michele and his wife clearly put a lot of effort into looking after guests, and the dinner they served was good. But the setting is rather bleak, with construction machinery around and what seems to be an old quarry nearby. It might work for lunch, though I wouldn’t recommend staying overnight. The beds, towels, and pillows need upgrading. Our room in the outbuilding had no internet, and the restaurant Wi-Fi wasn’t working while we were there.

The people here were exceptionally friendly, and their hospitality, home-cooked food made with local produce, and lovely white wine will stay with us for a long time. It’s a beautiful farm stay with wide views of the ‘tiny dolomites’, and a handy base for hikes and day trips around the area.
