Belvedere Village

Peschiera, the neighboring town, is beautiful, with nice restaurants and beaches, plus historic forts and moats. I'd recommend visiting, but staying at another hotel. The location works well if you have a car, but less so without one, and the hill up to the hotel is very steep. The pools are nice and kid friendly, but dated, with bulging lining and broken grates. Our apartment was in very poor condition: broken floor tiles, dirty walls, torn curtains, a broken sink, and a bathroom faucet that leaked. When we told the front desk, they said this was very normal for the establishment. It felt like someone had thrown a party the night before we arrived. Maintenance fixed the leak the next day, and cleaners came to look at the walls but didn't clean the grime. Both said the apartment's condition was normal for the hotel. Very disappointing. There was no Wi-Fi unless you were in the restaurant building.

I don't get the negative comments. Even though it's a camping place, we had a proper apartment with comfortable beds, sun loungers, and everything we needed. There's a supermarket and macdonalds 500 metres away, three beautiful pools, and a nice restaurant. There are places to play too, so it's fantastic for families.

It's a very family friendly resort, with three pools to choose from and friendly staff. There's also a restaurant for days when you don't feel like walking 20 minutes into town. The apartments have nice, spacious sleeping areas, though the kitchen and living room are very small. You do get a small fridge and a stove for cooking. For a pleasant walk, take the little trail starting across the parking area to the south. It meets a small road that joins the main road at the bottom of the hill from the resort.

The restaurant attached to the property serves very good food, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The rest of the facility still makes a mostly decent impression, but the apartment no longer seems worth the price. We've spent holidays here several times since it opened, and this time our Premium apartment didn't feel Premium. There was mold in the bathroom and bedroom, toothpaste on a kitchen curtain, and a large urine stain in a child's bed. The safe also no longer works.
