The train station is only a minute away, which came in handy when the sea was too cold in May and we went straight to Rome instead. The trip costs €4-5 per person, depending on the station, and takes around 50 minutes. Restaurants nearby were good, and several supermarkets, including Elite, were within a five-minute walk. Our hotel entrance faced the beach swimming area, just across from the sea. The beach itself is quite small and doesn’t go on for long, but it’s right there. Downstairs there’s a pleasant flower-filled seating area where we could sit at tables and have friends over. There’s also an outdoor shower if the beach doesn’t have one available. We stayed for a week and especially liked being so close to the beach. In May there was no charge for beach access, but from June a table with two loungers costs €60. Our room was on the second floor. It didn’t have a kitchen or balcony, unlike the first-floor suites, but the view was much better. Opening the windows almost gave the feeling of having a balcony. The room suited us well, with a lovely view, TV, small fridge, air conditioning, internet, washer, dryer, and iron. The bed was spacious and clean, though not always completely comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom was roomy too, with elegant lighting. Cleaning came once or twice a week.
