Agriturismo La Palazzina

The grounds are lovely, with wide lawns and lots of greenery, and the pool was beautiful. Our apartments were clean and practical. The owner and staff were always ready to help with our requests and give useful advice. Our two dogs were welcomed and pampered. We highly recommend the place.

We came as a group of 20, adults and children, and there was plenty of space and lots of ways to spend time together. The pool and playground are lovely, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's an amazing place for an enjoyable holiday. I highly recommend it :)

The pool is excellent, and there's also a stone ping-pong table. A couple of slightly newer rackets would be useful. The property has several apartments scattered around a huge green space, with easy parking just 10 meters from the apartment. Rooms are tidy with standard furnishings, so don't expect anything super-modern. I thought the nightly price was average for the location: €90 from Booking. Castelnuovo center is a 5-minute drive, and there's a Conad supermarket 3 minutes away. There's no breakfast, but cooking is easy. You'll need to ask the front desk for a hairdryer, since it isn't in the bathroom. Have a great holiday.

We've spent our family holiday here three times in four years, and we'll definitely be back for a fourth. This beautiful farmhouse suits all kinds of stays, from a large family like ours, seven people including our dog, to groups of friends or solo travelers. Pets are welcome, and the prices are affordable and popular. The rustic, simple furnishings fit the spirit of Garfagnana without feeling low quality. The place and accommodations are spacious, clean, and well kept, with fantastic views and greenery all around. There's a pool, barbecue areas, a shared room with Wi-Fi, and fruit trees. The pool is the estate's jewel, and both it and the rooms, bathrooms included, are accessible to people with physical disabilities. The whole property has a welcoming, relaxed, kind atmosphere. The gardener and cleaner are friendly, as are Stefano, his wife, and his charming mother. Stefano is always around to help people feel at ease, and his love for Garfagnana comes through. He knows the area well and has lots of suggestions for its villages, towns, natural spots, culture, and adventures. Highly recommended for any occasion.
