We had a fantastic two week break here, six people in an amazing villa with lovely Tuscan-style rooms. It's central to Castelnouvo, and the hosts were very friendly without getting in the way. The road up is a little hairy, but only half a kilometre. Fantastic views, too.
The pool was great, and the view was to die for. Garfagnano has everything you need, and Paulo and his wife were impeccable hosts. They even brought my son a birthday cake. The fantastic house sits lifted above Castenuovo Di Garfagnana, and though there’s no air conditioning, it’s cleverly designed so the rooms stay cool. Pretty much perfect.

Our group of seven and two dogs spent a week here and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and fully equipped, with magnificent, well-kept grounds. The hosts took great care of us and paid attention to their guests. I highly recommend it. 👍
The beautiful park and swimming pool make this a magical place. Nature brings a kind of peace you can only find here.
