I took some pictures at dawn, and the views are breathtaking! This place feels like a dream, a quiet farmhouse tucked away in the heart of Tuscany, with a wonderful, unpretentious atmosphere. There are excellent drinks by the pool, served by the lovely Ottavia. What a Tuscan gem.

A beautiful Tuscan hideaway with nice apartments decorated in Tuscan style and a great pool. The only drawback is the lack of air conditioning. During our stay it was 39 degrees C.

The shared pool is spotless and well maintained, and there's an informal kiosk-bar next to it that's open all day, serving simple but tasty food. The apartment I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and simple. Don't come expecting luxury, this place is about simplicity and peace. The welcome was warm, and fairytale scenery, olive trees, and a strong sense of history make this a magnificent stay in the quiet Tuscan countryside.

The walk from Montecastelli is lovely, with nature all around you. If you like, you can pass a spring on the way to the provincial road, and its water is highly praised. From there, you can return to Montecastelli along the provincial road, which is very quiet, either by making a loop or retracing your steps. The village itself is beautiful, and the approach from Montecastelli has a spectacular, bucolic setting.
