Vita Lumiere

This is a great place to settle into that true Dolce far niente feeling. We had three comfortable rooms and a neat, clean bathroom with a washing machine. The kitchen and dining room are on the same level as the roof terrace, which is the real highlight. The panoramic view over the mountains, valley, and Ligurian Sea is incredible, and there's a magnificent stone barbecue up there too. Castelnuovo Magra is a gem of a small town, and the house is right in its center. We enjoyed it so much that we often didn't feel like going anywhere, and honestly, that's part of the appeal. The beach is just a few minutes away by car, and Cinque Terre is easy to reach by car or train. Pisa, Carrara, Lucca, and La Spezia are close too, and other beautiful Tuscan cities can be visited on a day trip. There are lots of wineries nearby offering tastings; we went to Terra Della Luna. I highly recommend Virág Lumiére. The house is truly top class, and Silvana is a wonderful, helpful host.
