Gardena Grödnerhof Hotel & Spa

The restaurants were all amazing, and they handled our allergens easily. Anna Stuben is worth the price, 10/10. We also found this hotel thoughtful and welcoming, with excellent amenities and an ideal base for exploring the Dolomites. Its location is perfect, and the staff made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

We opted for half board, which I highly recommend. The food was as good as the Michelin restaurant we ate at in Cortina the week before. The spa treatments were five-star, and the spa has every amenity you'd want. The gym was well equipped too, especially compared with the limited gyms at many European hotels. This lovely, well-appointed hotel has been run by the same family for four generations. At check-in we met Anna Steuben, named after her great-grandmother, the founder, and pictured here. We also met one of Anna's sisters and a cousin who works at the hotel. Our beautiful two-bedroom room had air conditioning, which we appreciated in the August heat. Next year, all the rooms will have air conditioning.

It's easy to walk from here to several cable car stations, with incredible views and hundreds of hikes nearby. The hotel exceeded every expectation and deserves its five stars. Highly recommend! We felt sincerely welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived and were greeted by name. Every interaction was warm and professional, and the staff handled each detail promptly. The spa was the best we experienced in Italy, with different saunas, a cold plunge, hot tub, pools, zero-gravity beds, and refreshing juices and teas. It was unforgettable. Our room was spotless every day, with five-star cleanliness and attention to detail. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, offering an impressive range of fresh, high-quality options. It was hard to pick a favorite, and both the presentation and taste were thoughtful. From check-in to the room and service, everything felt effortless. It's rare to find luxury with such sincere hospitality.

We spent six nights in a Seceda room and hated the thought of leaving. It was perfect, and we'll be talking about it for years. The staff were lovely, welcoming, and professional. From the scent throughout the resort to the decor and eco-friendly technology, they'd thought of everything. It made a perfect base for exploring Val Gardena. Thanks to everyone who made the stay so good.
