There are marked hiking trails around the area, and a bus stop right outside takes you to Ortisei about once an hour. From there, gondolas go up to the mountains for hiking, skiing, or even paragliding. The apartment also has underground parking and a changing room and storage area for ski gear. The owners live in the same building, which made the place feel welcoming from the start. Helga greeted us warmly and made sure we had what we needed. We got a complimentary upgrade to a spacious, well-equipped apartment, plus homemade jam. Breakfast wasn't included in our booking, but they still gave us delicious morning bread. There were two balconies with views over the hillside and a nearby church. A washing machine was available too. It was a really lovely stay in a welcoming home, with both comfort and things to do nearby.

The place was very clean, with spacious rooms and a dishwasher, fridge and TV. The owners were friendly and helpful, and there’s a parking garage, laundry room, and ski storage. It’s family friendly, and the free internet has just been improved. There’s no elevator, so it’s not suitable for wheelchair users, and there’s no apres-ski. The bus stop is about 100 meters away. The first bus is at 8:30, and the last one back from Ortisei is at 17:10. It takes around 15 minutes to get there. Drive if you want the first lift up and the last ride down.

So peaceful and quiet here, with a wonderful view and really lovely people ;-) Alpe di Siusi is about an hour away on foot, or just 10 minutes by cable car!

The owners were so welcoming, and the apartment felt cozy. Great mountain views from the balcony, and the cute town is close to Ortisei. Highly recommended. La dolce vita!

We had a great three-night stay at Residence Rumanon in the Dolomites. The outdoor dining area had lovely views of the moos and alpacas, and the property is close to one of the Alpe di Siusi trails. The pool wasn't ready while we were there, but we still loved the place and thought it was great value for the price. Our room was spacious, with a sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen. There was a washing machine, which made laundry easy, and the views from the property were amazing. The bus stop is only a one-minute walk away, with easy rides down to Ortisei. Helga answered our questions promptly, gave us free bread, and kindly arranged a pickup from Runggaditsch when the 355.2 bus wasn't available around midday. We also got a pass for free bus travel around the area.
