Breakfast was a real surprise, with lots of variety and good quality food. We loved the hotel and its friendly people, and the service was good. There are plenty of parking spaces and a garage, and the bus stop is close by. We'll definitely return.

The sauna was a welcome extra after spending time outdoors, and the hotel cafe/bar also serves refreshments. We felt very welcome at this family-run place, with lovely service. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of fresh, healthy choices.

After a day exploring the Dolomites or hiking, it was lovely to come back to a peaceful, clean place. Hotel Garni Doris has a cozy, genuine Alpine feel, and the family running this small hotel made us feel welcome from check-in, with warm and personal hospitality. The rooms and shared areas were spotless. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, with fresh items to get the day going. A comfortable, welcoming base in the Castelrotto region.

The location worked really well, a short way from both the skiing and cross-country slopes. Our room felt romantic and was clean, just right for a getaway with my boyfriend. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and breakfast had plenty of fresh, tasty choices. And the ice cream here is the best, definitely worth trying. We had a wonderful stay and recommend it for a great time.

We were a family of three and spent two nights at Hotel Doris in May. The staff were the highlight, incredibly friendly and helpful, and spoke English well, as well as German and Italian, presumably. Since it's family owned and run, the welcome felt very personal. We booked at the last minute and needed three beds. They made that work, though we had to change rooms after the first night. Both rooms were comfortable, roomy enough for three, and had balconies. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had in decades of traveling in Europe. There was a big range of good bread, pastries, meat and cheese, plus eggs, homemade jams, yogurt with lots of toppings, and more. The eggs were scrambled one morning and soft cooked the next. Parking is right in front, and it's easy to walk around town. There's a little cafe with ice cream, cake, coffee and other things, though we didn't try it. Keep in mind there are stairs and no lift, and I don't think there's air conditioning.
