The dinner experience weighs heavily on my rating. After a tiring day on the mountain, waiting 2.5 hours for a meal from the first course to the last was too much. The menu is limited, portions are small, and service is far too slow for a ski resort where guests come back hungry and exhausted. Even the owner jumps in to help, which I respect, but dinner still took too long. There are things this hotel does really well. The owner is attentive and forthcoming, and Daniel lent me a pair of gloves when I lost mine, so I didn't have to buy some for just one day. The owners greet guests, and the treatment feels personal. Housekeeping is excellent, five stars: the cleaning staff check and clean the rooms several times a day, even between meals, and keep them immaculate. The atmosphere is charming, the staff attentive, and the owner very involved. But a four-star ski hotel should also have somewhere small to exercise or stretch, like a gym or yoga room, and separate shampoo and body wash rather than a 2-in-1 product. For me, the slow dinner service after a long day on the mountain is the main issue, so I can only give three stars.

After more than 25 years of visiting this area, we still haven't found a better hotel for the price, quality, and service. The staff are super friendly, the rooms are very nice, and breakfast and dinner are delicious with enough options. There's a good sauna, too. It's just outside the village center, but a ski shuttle comes by at regular times.

We spent New Year's at Hotel Madonna and had a wonderful getaway, with lovely hosts and friendly staff providing great service. The hotel seems recently renovated, feels modern, and is in a great spot. We loved the pool, sauna, food, and rooms. There's a shuttle to the Seiser Alm slopes for skiers, snowboarders, and hikers, and Kastelruth is a nice village to walk around. Highly recommend.

Daniel and his wife run a first-class hotel, and we had an amazing five-night stay with our family of seven. The included dinner each night was the best hotel dining I've ever had, and the amenities were better than I expected. The place is newly renovated and clean. It's in the lovely town of Castelrotto, a convenient base for exploring the Dolomites. We'll absolutely stay here again on our next visit to South Tyrol.

We're back for a second stay and love it here. The views are spectacular, and the modern rooms are cozy and well equipped, though a bit warm. The wellness area with its pool, sauna, and hamman is really nice, and the food is very good. The staff are professional and super kind. It suits couples and families, and the location works well for both Alpine and cross-country skiing. I definitely recommend it.
