Hotel Scherlin

Getting around was easy thanks to the nearby bus stop and its well-organized schedule. The ski areas were also easy to reach, with good connections to Sella Ronda and Alpe di Siusi, which made the hotel a great fit for skiing. And the panorama each morning was breathtaking, a wonderful way to start the day. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. We felt welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Meals were fresh, flavorful, varied, and beautifully presented. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return. We highly recommend it for the food, service, location, and views.

The rooms and pool were great, and there’s plenty of space, a bar, and some very nice dining options. You can park out front or underneath in the garage. The Urtisei and Seceda ski lifts are a ten-minute drive away, with good parking right below the lifts. From breakfast through dinner, everyone was kind and seemed to enjoy their work. It felt like family as soon as we arrived. They were so helpful and eager to make us comfortable that it seemed there was nothing they wouldn’t do.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the whole hotel was immaculately clean. The family and staff were incredible, going above and beyond to make every part of our stay feel special and lovely. We had an amazing experience from start to finish.

We had a lovely room with a view down the valley toward St Ulrich. The breakfast buffet and evening meal were both really good, and the kitchen crew clearly knows what they’re doing. The owner family were always friendly and available when we had questions, and they shared a tip or two for hiking and sightseeing. We stayed here in August/September 2024 for a hiking holiday. The hotel is a little outside St Ulrich, but the bus right in front makes it very well connected and takes you almost anywhere. It’s a great family-run hotel, and we’d love to come back.
