The family who runs this place made us feel welcome right away, and the whole stay felt calm and easy. We loved sitting outside with coffee and those mountain and valley views, and the pool was great for unwinding. There’s also a sauna for winter, free private parking with covered and open-air spots, and an easy check-in. It’s a handy base for hikes, the mountain lift, or simply doing nothing. Breakfast has plenty of choice, including vegetarian options, and the rooms are clean, cozy, and well equipped in a modern-rustic style. The hotel is quiet, the service is good, and the price felt fair. It’s not a five-star design hotel with polished chrome and rain showers, so if that’s what you’re after, you might prefer somewhere charging €400 a night. For genuine charm and good value, this place is a gem.

The location was great, and the woman who served our dinner was very nice. The meal itself was just okay, though, and the room and bathroom felt very old for the high price. The bed made annoying noises at night and left us with terrible back pain. Cleaning felt like a formality. They didn’t even replenish the soap or toilet paper, and there wasn’t a bottle of water in the room. The tap water may be drinkable in this area, but at this price I expected better service.

Breakfast was the best we had on our trips, with lots of local homemade food. It’s a great base for exploring, and you can walk to a small town with plenty to do. We also enjoyed relaxing by the lovely, clean pool and waking up to the beautiful mountain view from the balcony. The rooms are traditional, so don’t expect modern luxury, but we had no problems at all. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The rooms were really comfortable and clean, and breakfast was generous, with lots of local food. hotel solaia is a family hotel, and everyone working there was super nice and helpful. We really recommend it and would be happy to come back!

We went for a meal with my family and were made to eat from a set menu. The food was horribly low quality and disgustingly unhygienic, and it made us sick. We were charged 80 euros per person for that meal, which felt like a complete sham. When we challenged the owners, they shouted at us and were incredibly rude. I felt this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. The owners came across as dishonest and as preying on tourists. I’d give a negative rating if I could. I’ll never return, and I’d tell others to avoid the place if they don’t want their holiday ruined.
