Treffhof

We spent a wonderful week at the Treffhof farm in the Amsel apartment. From the large, sunny balcony there’s an exceptional view, and you can set off hiking right from the farm. Kastelruth is close by, and getting to the farm from the road is easy. The apartment is roomy, cozy, thoughtfully designed, and very well equipped. Each day you can buy farm products like jams, eggs, yogurt, fruit juice, and syrups at reasonable prices. There’s also a wide choice of bread you can order the day before, delivered to your door the next morning for breakfast. The region is beautiful, with plenty to do, from hiking and mountain biking to via ferrata and thermal baths. Mrs. Putzer and her husband were kind, discreet, and accommodating. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The family made us feel very welcome and were incredibly kind. We spent seven days here in February as a group of six, and had a wonderful holiday. The apartment was spotless and well cared for, just as it looked in the pictures. The ski area is only a ten-minute bus ride away. We’d happily return.

The ski bus stop is an easy walk, about 180 meters from the house, and there’s a ski room with boot dryers. Our apartment was high quality, tastefully furnished, and had everything we needed. The guesthouse sits beautifully on a hill, with a lovely view of Mount Schlern and the surrounding area. Mrs. Ulrike was incredibly kind. I highly recommend a stay at the Treffhoff farm.

We stayed for two weeks in August and hated having to leave. The peaceful setting and breathtaking scenery made it hard to say goodbye. The apartment was cozy and fully equipped, and Ulrike was so kind. Her jams were another lovely touch. A great fit for families with small children, or anyone after some quiet while still being just a five-minute drive from Castelrotto or Siusi. Highly recommended!
