B&B Rosy Gallo

Mrs. Rosa was so kind and attentive. She even booked dinner for us at a village restaurant, and left flowers on the neatly arranged towels. The apartment was charming, clean, and excellent value, with a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a living room with sofa bed, a small but well-equipped bathroom, and a washing machine. Breakfast came with milk, juice, yogurt, pastries, jams, and Nutella, and the kitchen also had a kettle and coffee machine. The B&B is right on the square, near two bars, the post office, a mini market, the town hall, and the Carabinieri station. It’s also a CAI reception point. Highly recommended.

Mrs. Rosy is such a kind person. During our short stay in Castelsaraceno, she made sure we had everything we needed, including a generous breakfast and a spacious shower. The place was warm, comfortable, clean, and cozy, with lovely scented towels and sheets. We also had a breathtaking view of the mountains. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return. The highlight for us was the homemade pasta made by Rosi’s mother, Aunt Rosaria. She was in her nineties and walked us through every step, showing how flour can become an art. A unique experience. Mrs. Rosa was very hospitable and offered advice and help with our stay in Castelsaraceno. Breakfast was incredible, with Castellana products in generous amounts, and they even accommodated our special dietary requests related to different intolerances, including nickel. The restaurant is in the square, which makes it easy to reach, though that was perhaps the least important part of our experience.

The owner was so helpful and kind, looking after us like family. She felt like an old family friend, the sort of person you’d call aunt. The clean, welcoming apartment is right beside the information point for the bridge and very close to the bridge itself. It was a different kind of stay, and we really felt at home. I’d highly recommend it, and who knows, next time we’re in the area we may stay with her again.
